The Micah Project

I am so excited that this Saturday I get to fly to Tegucigalpa to visit a street children’s drop in center and home. The Micah Project is one that I have admired for many years. They have been working with street children since 1993. I imagine they know a bit more than me. I have kept up with their website and even [ahem] used some of their pictures during my support raising time. Please pray for my time there. Pray that I will learn what the Lord has for me to learn and that it would be a fruitful time! I am excited to meet these wonderful people and glean from them and their experience in working with street children. Can’t wait!

you could also call me Katerin, Alison (my middle name), or even Katy. something happens when you move to honduras. you get lots of names. ((especially when you introduce yourself as alison (because there's another kate already in the house) and then try to change it back to katerin.)) you end up with all kinds of combinations. anyway, i digress.

i am serving the Lord in the small country of honduras, in the third largest city called La Ceiba. i love jesus and long to make him known among the street children of honduras.

i plan to open up a drop-in center wherein the street children of the area will be able to receive one meal per day, a shower, clean clothes and a chance to hear the Gospel presented clearly.
