Sweat pouring down your face, mosquitoes biting, roosters crowing and manual labor. Sound like fun? Believe it or not, I’d rather be there than anywhere. Puerto Alegria, Peru. Home to 40 former street boys. Geirler, Mansur, Ronald, Julio, Beken, and Gabino, to name a few. Precious boys who are daily learning of the love of Christ. Precious boys waiting to hang all over you, waiting to be loved on and played with. Don’t speak Spanish? Don’t worry. They don’t care.
The next trip will be from July 25 until August 2 (or August 5, depending on your availability). Consider coming. But be warned. If you go once, you’re likely to return.
Here’s some pictures to whet your appetite.
