Things I'm loving these days:::

I feel compelled to list a few of the things I’m really into lately.  Perhaps you’ll find something that piques your interest.  

1.  My new advent calendar.  I love adding a new piece to the nativity scene each day, and reflecting on that portion of the Christmas story.  So fun.  If you want to see it, click here.

2.   Painting and crafting.  Creating has been such a fun outlet for me.  When I get into the mood, I could create for hours.  Little greeting cards, gifts and mixed-media paintings.  Love it.  

3.  Sufjan Stevens’ Christmas album.  It is amazing!  You’re sure to buy after you have a listen.

4.  Celebrating the Christian Year, by Martha Zimmerman.  This book goes through all the holidays, giving background and ways to honor God with your holiday traditions.  A great book to keep on the shelf.  (PS–Click here if you want to read some of the things I learned from this book.
